A indian-born football player from France who had unfortunalety miss a goal in the last second against the Swiss (so bad, he would be the first Indian footballer to score a goal in the world cup :) ). But I wonder why british Indians never become a football player although there are many of them :? .

Sorry but i honestly think this subject deserves its own thread. It's not everyday that we get to watch and enjoy a player of Indian origin star in the World Cup.

I was amazed when I saw an Indian soccer player sub in. A good accomplishment.
To read more about him go to wikipedia:

Vikash, who is of Mauritian-Indian descent, was born and grew up in Normandy. He belongs to the Telugu community, his ancestors having migrated to Mauritius from the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He is of the Hindu faith
