The Inaimathi TSC font script is fine. But there are many who cannot read it. Why not conduct the coversation in English?

I do not have the software to decipher the heiroglophics. Thanks to all my friends.

Dear Mr. Raman,
In the Tamil literature threads, we discuss Tamil in Tamil scripts. To really enjoy Tamil discussions and participate in them, one need to be able to read and write in Tamil on computers. It is fairly easy to read in Tamil.
Most of the posts are in the TSCII encoding. There are plenty of free TSCII fonts available at http://www.tamil.net/tscii/tools.html
Some of the posts are in the Anjal Inaimathi family of fonts. To read them you will need to download the Murasu Anjal software and keep it running. You can also use Murasu Anjal to read the TSCII encoded texts. Murasu Anjal is available at http://www.murasu.com
To write in Tamil, you will need to do some work. All of this is discussed in the How To pages as well as the various practice pages.

<h4>How to post tamil text ?</h4>
<ul>[*] Posting TSCII tamil text is easy. Just add the TSCII tag around the text you wish to post:
<TSCII>..whatever in TSCII text...</TSCII>
[*] You can also post using FONt tags, e.g. for Murasu Anjal:
... text copied from Murasu editor....
Go to the Test Posts thread to test
if posting works from your browser.[/list]
Posting in transliterated Tamil makes it hard to quote from other sources, difficult to read fluently and has been unnecessary for at least 5 years. So, do make an effort to download the TSCII fonts and then see for yourself before complaining about the "heiroglophics" (sic).
