dear RKS. kindly bear with. No doubt, Shankar is the top most Director at present in our country who has taken the Indian Cinema to another peak of 'Brammaaaandam' on par with any Hollywood films, as proved by the stupendous success of Endhiran though inspired by many hollywood movies! In his film Shivaji also the hero in one scene makes a punch dialogue 'Parasakthi Heroda...'with a reference to NT , while addressing his name! Perhaps, this may be the reason : Shankar opted to make a film by name 'Shivaji' ( it may refer to the Marathi warrior or the title of Sivaji to our NT or the original name of Rajini 'Shivaji Gaekwad'!) He also makes another reference 'MGR" for Rajini's different (?!?)get up in the same movie!! Perhaps expecting MGR virudhu too!! Anyway, the way awards are given to persons in TN....amazing business calculations! Now I am puzzled about the real meaning of "Sivaji" virudhu...whether to actors or directors or any film personality.. in that case MSV,Director Baalaa....or actors like Vikram, upcoming Vijay Sethupathi or Attakkaththi Dinesh, ... but , kindly avoid using the word 'cunning fellow' which may invite controversies in an open thread!

Dear Sir,

With reference to my quote, it is only my opinion and it is based on proper justification.

With reference to controversy, i can handle it peacefully.

"Cunning " does not have a direct synonym equivalent to the meaning of "bad" .

In history, the great Chanakya who wrote the great book Arthashasthra was also referred to as " Cunning " for executing his activities....

In EPIC, the activities of Lord Krishna is also termed as "Cunning" - But we justify mentioning that , to isolate bad it is only a strategy followed by Lord Krishna.

Going by that standard, Director Shankar who is just another one in the list of top commercial directors in India is also undoubtedly "Cunning" !

I stand by my comment.

dear RKS. I am not offending you or your feelings. In my humble opinion, RKS, being the star of this thread, could have restrained from the usage of words like 'cunning'. Instead in a polish and polite way that Director could be taken as a 'diplomatic businessman' or a 'clever and shrewd' opportunist..like that! May be as a token of respect or thanks giving, since Shankar has offered a cameo for Ramkumar in his movie 'I" or with a future expectations of moulding Vikram Prabhu like the way Prashanth was upgraded, NT's family might have chosen him for this award! One way I am puzzled at your approach dear RKS. You stand out as the Star (Naayagan) of this thread in posting NT's glory related matters at an amazing dash and verve and unmatched dedication. At the same time you are not in favour of NT's blood related persons like Prabhu or Vikram Prabhu..! 'Neenga Nallavara Kettavara?!' dialogue of Naayagan film, I am reminded of! Just in a light vein RKS! Ungal position 'kaththimel Nadappadhu Pola'... you need to measure your steps, after assuming the charges!
