Winning the ODI series is good but cannot even be considered a consolation to the test debacle.

Happy to see Ajinka Rahane tower over the other fancied/flamboyant next-gen batsmen in the current team.

Rahane's composure reminds of the golden Sachin/Dravid/Laxman generation.

Pujara will find a way out of this rot, i hope.

Kohli had great tours of South Africa and New Zealand, but frankly this tour has been a complete embarrassment for him. Even if he scores in the last ODI and the T20, it still cannot quite cover his rather disastrous run in the rest of the tour.

Murali Vijay is always a mixed bag. True, he had a good series, but you can expect him to have a bad one, up next. Hope he proves me wrong.

Dhoni's captaincy in the test matches left a lot to be desired. His inability to inspire his team in the middle of a losing streak is a worrying aspect of his captaincy. He loses one, you can expect the team to turn flat the reminder of the series. No real inspiration nor intent in his test captaincy. Sometimes Dhoni's ultra-cool attitude which is his strength becomes his weakness.

No real hopes for World Cup 2015. Cricket, on the whole is a lot less exciting since the retirement of Sachin Tendulkar.
