    You are right. sAkShAtkAra movie was a famous one among the films released during that period. The direction of the film was by Sri S R Puttanna kanagal .
    And this film has Sri Prithviraj Kapoor of hindi film world , first appeared in this kannada film. Sri s r puttanna kanagal’s last direction with Sri Raj kumar and Jamuna in the film. Sri Raj and Jamuna both never appeared again after this film.

    Kasthuri Nivasa was directed by Dorai-Bhagwan. It had Dr.Rajkumar,Jayanthi & Aarthi in lead.

    Music was by G.K.Venkatesh (who succeded in kannada Film industry) .

    film had great songs..

    Elle iru hege iru is a wonderful song by PS (picturised on jayanthi)
    while Nee bandhu nintaga by PBS,PS (Rajkumar & Arthi) is a mellifluous duet .
    Aadisi nodu bilisi nodu by PBS

    The film ‘kastUri nivAsa’ was in 70’s. The sorrowful song ‘AdisidAta bEsara mUDi AtamugisidA’ is sung by Shri Vekatesh (Music director) himself. The song sung by sushila is melodious and meaningful for the occasion. A beautiful rendition by sushila. The singer while singing emotionally expresses the each word of the lyric.

    This is a beautiful song which brings out the feelings of a woman.
    Picturisation is so beautiful. a breezy evening. Jayanthi is in the swing(jula) enjoying the mood.

    M.Ranga rao known for his classic tunes proves his talent in this while nice lyrics by Vijayanarasimha and beautiful rendition by P.susheela makes this song a class.

    The film ‘eDakallu guDDada mEle’is in the year 1973.
    Mrs. Jayanthi and Ranga (not harinath)played the lead role. Sri Chandrashekar and Aarti are also appeared in the film. The film has 3 more beautiful songs. They are:
    1. SaMthOSha saMgIta,
    2. nillu nillE pataMga,
    3. saMnyAsi saMnyAsi.
    Sri S R Puttanna Kanagal had directed the film. The melodius tune of the song ‘viraha viraha’ resembles the notes of ‘rAga’ ‘abhEri’ (bhIMpalas). The lyric follows:

    dear Rajesh, you have picked a beautiful song from the golden treasure. The film gaMdhi nagara released during 1969. The telugu version of the same song (solo) ‘I divilo virisina pArijAtamu’ beautifully sung by SPB. It is a duet song in Kannada movie fantastically rendered by PBS/PS.

    Hi Rajesh,

    This song is a beautiful and very meaningful one...
    My favorite song is "Yelliruve, manava kaaduva Roopasiye, Bhalliya.... neenu yelliruve"

    This song is sung by Anant Nag in an Helicopter, I don't remember the film...
    pls elighten me on the film...

    Somehow I don't find film songs of this grade nowadays.. what do you think is the reason for this??
