    The policeman jumped out of the car and grabbed Elaine by the arm, "Lady, you are under arrest for the murder of Jed Evans...." Elaine froze in disbelief!!!

    Sweat & tears, of threat and fears blurred her vision. As she fumbled in her handbag & took out her hankerchief, something fell from it with a metallic clink - a blood stained knife !
