Makkal thilagam as a producer and movie maker

How come you missed this out ?

You know, MGR was a defacto director for many years ever since he became a full fledged hero

He always had directors like Pa. Neelakantan and K.Shankar but they all have acknowledged openly that it was MGR who was behind the screen directing the movie.

MG used to handle everything

He was very active in song recording . I have heard that many times he was present even at the recording theatre to ensure that the song is recorded properly to his satisfaction

and today we are all enjoying his hardwork.

Every song of MGR is treat to watch.

I wish you all read Mr. Manisekaran's articles .

I was also told that MGR used to have SESSIONS with Kannadaasan in coming up with his THATHUVAP PAADALGAL !! And then he was also very keen on the SETS of the scenes ... About this directorial skills, I think the only two that I know of are ULAGUM SUTTRUM VAALIBAN (Superhit) and MADURAI MEETA SUNDARA PANDIYAN (Superflop) ... And do you know abt A.C.Thirulogachandar, the director ... He also joins the list with the other two top preferred directors MGR had right ??

A.C Thiru did Anbe Vaa for MGR . After that, he was a full fledged Nadigar thilagam director.

the above guys were ASTHANA MGR DIRECTORS

The movies which MG produced were all virtually directed by him only.

Nadodi mannan, Adimai pen were all MG stamp only.
