He also mentioned one more thing in his malarum ninaivugal. He has lot of cheques given by various producers worth a few lakhs, which got returned from banks for insufficient fund.. and he never tried to present them again nor did he threaten the producers with legal action.. and he said, "avanga kitta panam irundha kuduthu irukka maattaangala"

"nammala vechu padam eduthadhaala collection kuraiva irundhu irukkalaam illaiyaa"

neenga nambalana, yaaravadhu en kitta 1000 rubaa kuduthu ella chequesm eduthukaradhuna, naan udane kuduthudaren

Gemini did Bsc.(chemistry) in MCC college, tambaram & was a lecturer there before entering films.

In an interview to vijay TV, he mentioned that in the film he acted with MGR - mugarasi, he had performed a fight sequence with the villain which was acclaimed during the rushes, but it was edited out in the final version.

He said that it was done at the insistence of one man. He did not say who, though.

Anyway not difficult to guess.

gemini also acted as a villain in his later years in a film wich featured both kamal & rajini as heroes.

That film - Alaudeenum arputha vilakkum.

Incidentally this was the last film done by kamal & rajini together.

earlier movies credited as R Ganesan ,he gained 'Gemini' thru his continued connection with Gemini studios
guess after his movie 'chakradhaari '( in which he first appeared as lord krishna) R Ganesan became Gemini Ganesan
