Aamir Khan managed to get more than one third of the votes with 36% but it was insufficient when compared with the 45% votes received by Abhishek Bachan.
Congrats Abishek!
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

Now to the Best Music Director of 2007
Pritam's score for Jab We Met had a mix of melodious numbers and some very Punjabi punch. He is against some of the very best though.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films have always been known for music. Monty Sharma, who scored the background music for Black, did a commendable job in one of the year's most hyped releases: Saawariya.
The biggest hit of the year: Om Shanti Om, had the regular all-singing-all-dancing-ness that SRK is known for. Vishal Shekar's music deserves special mention for adding verve to the film which was all about fun, fun and some more fun.
Aamir Khan's directorial debut, Taare Zameen Par, was noted for what Aamir is known - baffling you with brilliance. The musical score by
Shakar-Ehsaan-Loy, was perhaps one of their finest since Dil Chahta Hai.
AR Rahman always reserves his best for Mani Ratnam. So it is no wonder that, even though the expectation were high, Guru topped the charts with an album of breathtaking variety.
And the Award goes to......
மூவா? முதல்வா! இனியெம்மைச் சோரேலே

S-E-L was nominated *mainly* for their work in Johnny Gaddar. That IMO is their second finest soundtrack ever.
But I think Rahman will win :P

And, next to it JBJ, followed by TZP.
Though I'm sure ARR will win for Guru :P

Saawariya had a sad-ending here too. Monty's score got 0 votes . No lovers of the score here? Vishal's OSO music had its SOS sounded with only 4% votes. Jab We Met polled some votes initially but met with stiff competition from the two biggies and had to exit with 12% votes for the third spot.
So then it was ARR (vs) Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Can ARR reign supremo? Or will the Davids topple the giant?
