Ur welcome!
I can tell you for sure that Venice has more amazing things (than 4/2 wheelers - you can see them anywhere in the world!) like
- Buildings which make you wonder how they were built in water!
- The venetian blinds in every single building
- The police flying past in their motor boats
- The smell of Italian food
-
The masks - very colourful & beautiful!
-
The tourists everywhere
just to mention a few ...
Thanks! Well, I certainly agree on the bldgs. bit- yeah I too wonder the same! Reminds me of the lake palace in Udaipur(?)...
Speaking of venetian blinds, Ive really liked those too! 'even seen a couple of Heralds and fiats fitted with those in their rear windows! :P
Masks- uh, wat masks? R they sold there?
Tourists, er- I donno wat cud be so amazing bout them...... ....esp. since we ourselves would be tourists if we go there!

As for tourists - what I tried to say was that if you probably come to Dublin, you would see plenty of locals and tourists, what I found amazing in Venice was that the place looked as though it was full of tourists with minimal locals in it! For some strage reason I even had a doubt that the place completely shut down at night when the tourists left to stay in land (It is too expensive to stay in Venice itself - so people try to stay outside Venice and travel by bus / train into Venice during the day?)
The moment will arrive when you are comfortable with who you are, and what you are--when you don't feel the need to apologize for anything or to deny anything. To be comfortable in your own skin is the beginning of strength.
