    recently ( a year back)

we went to KABINI jlr resort. kabini is near nagarhole and bandipur

its so serene, quiet, without human noise, that when we actually walk out of kabini, we forget to even TALK . We forget human noise, human race, languages, communication and all technological things. WE GEL WITH NATURE.

So quiet, so peaceful, lovely for ppl who seek serenity. Kabini river with lush green forest around, is feast for our eyes.`

we can also enjoy safari, boat ride, film shows, bonfire etc

Though govt jlr resort is there, CICADA (a private resort) provides good lodging and awesome rich creamy yummy food)

    look out for this link

That sounds great Shakthi it will be also useful if you tell us how close it is to the nearset city and how to reach the place (sorry for being so demanding!)
The moment will arrive when you are comfortable with who you are, and what you are--when you don't feel the need to apologize for anything or to deny anything. To be comfortable in your own skin is the beginning of strength.

    Link has info anou.

Nearest would be bandipur. Bandipur would be 80 km from mysore or ooty. 220 km from blore.

afaik, Nearest railroad is mysore and airport is blore
so from we have to drive down or take a cab. No other solution.

Hey anyone out there in B'lore been to DHARMASTHALA??
I understand its 300kms from bangalore, nearer to mangalore (75kms)......it happens to be a holy place with a prominent temple:

.....and also houses an equally fascinasting (atleast to me) Vintage car mueseum!! (now you'd know why I'm keen to visit this place! ) owned by Dr. Veerendra HeggdE, the Godfather of Dharamasthala:
