Naaz,
Sparisam MD is Ravi ( not BR Chopra's ravi) but the "munnal" newsreader Shibana 's husband. ( hence Shobana Ravi

isai pAdum paRavai (Sumangali)
Pick #716
Song: isai pAdum paRavai
Film: Sumangali
Music: M.S.Viswanathan
Singer: Vani Jairam
Lyrics: Vaali
Year: 1983
"Sumangali" starred Sivaji Ganesan, Geeta, Sujata, Pushpalata, Prabhu, the absolutely hilarious Y.G.Mahendra and others. The story was borrowed from Hindi. Same old story that has been recycled thousands of times all across India in films of all languages. Don't know why they had to go to Mumbai to buy this tired old story, which I wouldn't bother to narrate. The beautiful and energetic Geeta and today's pick are the only good things in the film.
Today's pick was picturized on Geeta who plays a stage singer and dancer.
