As I said earlier, “ Kelvi pirandhadhu…” is a novel concept in this thread and your’e doing a great job. I believe that some of the Q&A’s that you post here dates back to even the 70’s & 80’s. It shows your diligence in preserving those magazines from where you pick the details. Actually, if you could compile this work and try to bring out as a book, it will be a great contribution. Kudos to you and keep it up sir.

Earlier, Murali sir used to write the nitty gritties of how a song has shaped up or “born” to sound literal, with some interesting anecdotes. Most of those articles had strange and interesting piece of information that were hitherto unknown. I used to tell him the same thing even then, i.e. to bring out that extra ordinary work into a book. Unfortunately, it didn’t materialize till now.

Recently heard, “ Iniyadhu iniyadhu ulagam…” song from “ Thangai “. What a mesmerizing, haunting & yet a peppy tune !!!!

I remember listening to this song in Vividh bharati during my school days and it is still vivid in my memory. I am yet to watch this film and also “ En thambi “ & “ Thirudan “.
