Muthuraman did lot of movies as hero.

Probably he didnt achieve the stardom as Shivaji,MGR and Gemini . I guess the reason is once he accpeted and started as other hero along with main heroes he was branded as character artist and those days it was very difficult to break the image because producers will say " andha thambi characterukku muthuramana potturalamba " etc etc .. but whatever role came his way he did with excellence .. shantam to kobam , kobam to comedy edhu seyyala avar.. Wow!!
