As if the existing channels are not enough, Zee group is venturing into Tamil. Named as Zee Tamil, this is supposed to hit the small screen on May 1st. On Day 1 itself a new movie (Thiraikku vandhu oru maadhame aana puthham puthiya thiraipadam) "Sila Nerangalil" would be telecast. Vijaya Sarathy (Neengal Ketta Padal) is the chief Programming officer.
