I guess both Andrea and Vinay used their own voice. Not fluent.
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

Jeeva (2014)
Another good movie, a lot of wonderful films are hitting consecutively and constantly, giving us the assurance that we are on a safe path.
The initial romance worked quite well (with me), thanks to pretty Sri Divya. Vishnu was quite expressive too. Other film makers should come forward and work with him, he has gianed the required stability. But was kind of disconnected with the love episodes that happen after 3 years, tried my best, but couldn't. Charlie and Vishnu's father have given some tremndrous performence. There are few pretty girls in the film, too. Soori's hairdo is fantastically funny. When he partners with Vishnu at a very crucial moment of a match, he gets extremely funny -
Vishnu : Senior, Single edunga Senior !
Soori : Naan mattum enna Six adikava Try Pandrein. (Looking at the bowler) Avan Bayatha etharan, evan pressure-a etharan.
The cricket matches were well synthesized - short, crisply detailed & interesting. Imman makes a very big impression. The following line could aggitate a few, but I will say it anyway - IR influence could be felt through out the film. But that does not take anything away for/from Imman. When Charlie and Kid Vishnu go to buy a bat, Imman has melted the whole scene. There are quite a lot of emotional scenes in the movie between Parents-kids, Players-Ambition, Deception, cunningness, ofcoarse romance, etc., everywhere Imman has given his best. Songs were not quite remarkable though (felt them to be over romantic), but post interval these lyrics did catch my attention (Song - Netru Naan Pathathum) :
Naetru Naan Paarthathum Unnaithaana Sol
Indru Naan Kaanbathum Unnaithaana Sol
Aadai Maara Jaadai Maara
Koonthal Paarvai Yaaum Maara
Kangalo Unn Kangalo Hey Maaravilai
Kangalo Enn Kangalo Yemaaravilai
Found the double entendres quite interesting and facinating.
Suseenthiran's potrayal is a class, esp., the way he shows us the pricky subject oriented characters - For one he zooms and closes-up between half forehead and half eye-glasses, and for the other the mustach. He has done a lot of such tremendrous depictions throughout the film, be it cricket, love, affection or affair. Kind of nice to watch them all.
Jeeva - Powerplay
In comparison with the co-release Madras, it is actually quite difficult to say which one of the two excels. They both are pretty good. If Jeeva has a higher hand with well known Cricket game as its base theme, Madras equally stretches out its hand with a fresh & interesting one. They both are quite similar too, well strictly in the sense of Summerisation :
- Madras puts the dark realities in the foreground, and Jeeva uses it as the backgroud.
- Both happen in and around a 'colony' setup involving lower middle-class families
- Friendship & aftermaths of a sudden death
- Outstanding BGM
- Romance => Parthein, rasithien, Pirinjain, (Tasmac), Sernthein
- Last but not least, Jeeva handles delicately the "parthasarthy/murugan" issue and the impact it creates with the affected persons, while Madras aims at the political atmosphere where fate of the supporters is showcased when two rival parties form an alliance. One word : Deception.
So its kind of hard to like one film and dislike the other. Altogether, its a cocktail of a release, a punch worth their tastes.

Exactly found this line to be fatal for the film. They stammered to handle the seriousness and missed the timing to bring in humour, making the proceeding eaten away by each other. If the BGM was more intelligent, it could have done wonders to this film, but they opted for a Kuthu Pattu somewhere in the middle of the movie to explain the chain reaction and the characters involved. It had a very promising start though, and the pre and post inteval were extremely funny.
Just like Vadacurry or Ennamo Nadakuthu, AJ misses a small aspect in its presentation which costs them high. Nevertheless a funny film.

Sigaram Thodu - test of patience.
Story about a guy finally becoming responsible and doing his duty as a cop. The most irritating fact of the movie is the fact, the movie loses the seriousness, when hero starts to fooling around the heroine like a puppy. The only thing that works in the movie is Vikram Prabhus look, which is apt for police man.
Songs were letdown, BGM as okay by D. Imaan.
Better luck (next time) director.

Boring Mystery thriller, Sarabham - made worse by bad acting.
The girl was good though.
