The incident is correct that Vikatan took the vow not to review K.B movies. The reason is K.B wrote a serial and he montioned an incident. During the remake shoot of Bama Vijayam in Telugu by Gemini, one particular shot was criticized by producer S.S.Balan and K.B called it an interference. Mr.Balan(gentleman to the core)refuted thae charge that it was a misconceptual shot which was pointed out without any ulterior motive. Since this shows K.B carries some ill-feeling,Vikatan will obstain from reviewing K.B movies as K.B may attribute the misunderstanding as the reason for critical review. This is what I know of it. Infact one is my dear uncle,one is my idol .
