A good venture. Just went through the 1st page and found the translation can be still more correct: the two are pure and bright children does not convey the exact meaning of இரண்டும் வெள்ளை நிலா. 'Both are (like) white moons' is literally nearer to the original. Just my two cents! Sorry for the comment without reading more pages.
Eager to watch the trends of the world & to nurture in the youth who carry the future world on their shoulders a right sense of values.

Dear Pragasam Sir,
Thank you for letting us know. You are right, in saying that the translation is not exactly same as "இரண்டும் வெள்ளை நிலா". But our focus is also as to what he the poet really meant when that lyric was penned, in this case it had nothing do with the color of the children (comparing it to the white moon), but the fact that the "வெள்ளை" here means pure/ bright nature of the children. Please let us know if you think this makes sense?
