Kamal - ''Rajinikanth would have become a star even if KB hadn't introduced him''

In the Uttama Villain audio launch yesterday, 1st March, 2015, the audience witnessed a teary eyed Kamal Haasan, who was extremely thankful to his guru, K Balachander for introducing him into cinema.

"You all know that Balachander sir introduced Rajinikanth and myself into cinema. Even if he had not introduced Rajinikanth, he would have acted in Murattu Kaalai and would have gone on to become a star. But in my case it was completely because of him that I am here as Kamal Haasan today. Or else I would have been a different Kamal Haasan doing something else."

It's very nice of him to say this. But everyone needs an intro or entry in some form or the other to showcase their talents. And KB did it for both of them! There are millions out there who are exceptionally talented and hard-working, but just don't get the right opportunities to exhibit those!!
