The film, directed by Ved Rahi, seeks to dwell on the "touching events" of Savarkar's chequered life including his heated arguments with Mahatma Gandhi. Shailendra Gaur acts superbly in the lead role of Savarkar .

The film was shot in England, France, Andaman Island and various locations in Maharashtra. A veteran Marathi singer and music director Late Sudhir Phadke produced this movie for Savarkar Pratishthan (Trust) by collecting the donations from thousands of well wishers across the world.
