இந்த தீபாவளிக்கு வெளியான அஜீத்தின் வேதாளம் திரைப்படத்தை பார்த்து ரசித்தவர்களை விட, அதன் வசூலை கேட்டு அதிர்ந்தவர்களே அதிகம் இருப்பார்கள்!

“முதல் நாள் 15.3 கோடி வசூல் செய்து சாதனை! முதல் 6 நாட்களில் உலகம் முழுவதும் சுமார் ரூ,60 கோடி வசூல்!

8 நாட்களில் ரூ 100 கோடி வசூல்!” என்றெல்லாம் செய்திகள் வெளியாகி புருவத்தை உயர்த்தவைக்கின்றன. படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் ஏ.எம். ரத்தினமோ, “எனக்கே இன்னும் வசூல் ரிப்போர்ட் வரலையே” என்று ஒதுங்குகிறார்.

மேலும் அவர், “சூப்பர் ஹிட் என்றால் ஒன்றுக்கு பத்து கிடைக்கணும். அதாவது பத்து லட்சம் போட்டா ஒருகோடி. ஒரு கோடி போட்டா பத்துகோடி. அப்படித்தான் எம்.ஜி.ஆர், சிவாஜி படங்கள் ஓடின.

சின்ன பட்ஜெட் படங்கள் கூட அப்படி ஓடியிருக்கின்றன. வைகாசி பெறந்தாச்சு, கரகாட்டகாரன் எல்லாம் உதாரணம்.

ஆனா வேதாளம் படத்தை பத்துகோடிக்கு வாங்கினவங்களுக்கு ஒரு கோடி கிடைக்குமா என்பதே சந்தேகம்தான்!” என்றார்.

தன்னை உயிராக நினைக்கும் ரசிகனை இப்படி ஏமாற்றித்தான் வசூல் கணக்கைக் காட்டுகிறார்கள் ஹீரோக்கள். இவர்களில் சிலர்தான், தன்னை வருங்கால முதல்வர் என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அதுதான் இன்னும் கொடுமை!”

“இந்த நிலை மாற என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?”

”தியேட்டரில் கட்டணத்தை முறைப்படுத்த வேண்டும். அரசு நிர்ணயித்த தொகைதான் வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறதா என்பதை கண்காணிக்க வேண்டும். தவிர படத்தின் செலவு அதிகரிப்பதற்குக் காரணம் இந்த முதல் நாள் மோசடி வசூல்தான். இதில் பெரும்பங்கு அந்த படத்தில் நடிக்கும் நடிகருக்குத்தான் போய்ச் சேருகிறது. இதை தடுக்க வேண்டும். அதே போல, ஒரு நடிகரின் படமே எல்லா தியேட்டர்களிலும் திரையிடப்படுவதை தடுக்க வேண்டும். மாஸ் நடிகர்கள் என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டு, இவர்களது படமே தியேட்டர்கள் அனைத்தையும் ஆக்கிரமிக்கின்றன. இது தவறு. உதாரணமாக, கோயம்பேடிலிருந்து தினம் ஆயிரம் பேருந்துகள் புறப்படுகின்றன என்று வைத்துக்கொள்வோம். பணக்காரர் ஒருவர், தன் மகள் திருமணத்துக்காக அத்தனை பேருந்துகளையும் தனது கட்டுப்பாட்டில் கொடுக்கச் சொன்னால் அரசு ஒத்துக்கொள்ளுமா.. அது போலத்தான் அத்தனை தியேட்டர்களையும் குறிப்பிட்ட எவருக்கும் ஒதுக்ககக்கூடாது என்பது.

இதற்கெல்லாம் அச்சாரமாக, மூன்று மாதங்கள் படங்கள் எதையும் வெளியிடக்கூடாது. படப்பிடிப்பு உட்பட எந்த சினிமா பணியும் நடக்கக்கூடாது. அப்போதுதான் எல்லா நடிகரும் ஒரே நிலைக்கு வருவார்கள்!”

“படத்தின் பெரும் செலவு, நடிகரின் சம்பளமாக இருக்கிறது என்கிற குற்றச்சாட்டு இருக்கிறது. இதற்கு என்ன தீர்வு”

“படத்தின் வசூலில் இருபது பிரசண்ட் ஹீரோவுக்கு சம்பளமாக தரலாம். வேதாளம் எழுபது கோடி வசூலாகும் என்றால், பதினான்கு கோடி அஜீத்துக்கு தரலாம். ஆனால் முப்பது கோடி, ஐம்பது கோடி என்றெல்லாம் செய்திகள் வருகின்றன. இது சினிமாவுக்கு நல்லது அல்ல!”

“ஆனால் நூறு கோடிக்கும் மேல் வசூலானதாக வேதாளம் பற்றி செய்தி வருகின்றனவே”

“பத்திரிகைகளில்தான் அப்படிப் போடுகிறீர்கள். சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்கள் ஏதும் சொல்ல வில்லையே.

ரஜினியின் லிங்காவுக்கும் இப்படித்தான் செய்திகள் வந்தன. கடைசியில் விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் தலையில் துண்டு போட்டுக்கொள்ள வேண்டிய நிலைமை. இதனால் ரஜினியே பணத்தைத் திருப்பிக்கொடுத்தாரே..”

dear Vijay and ajit fans, in future please dont share no of screens in the 2nd week etc..its useless..gsc/tgv normally runs the shows for at least 2 weeks not due to the demand..athu standard operating procedure..2nd week most halls are empty or maybe 30% occupied for night shows on weekdays..as of yesterday, gsc has removed almost 90% of screens for vedalam..left with probably 8 screens..please check at gsc.com.my..how can a record breaking movie reduced drastically from 97 screens to 8?

Boxoffice mojo never reports the full collection, sometimes they come up with the different total gross at the end of the movie's run.. sometimes they don't even report ... here is another source, taran adarsh.

Vedalam total gross after second weekend from 41 screen is 22,88,241 MYR which is 530K$ .. please do your logic calculation for this as well... let us see what would be the total gross after that, definetly it will cross 6M MYR.

Tamilboxoffice1, Andhraboxoffice and few other portals have sbscribed to Rentrak.. have seen the screenshot taken from rentrak web in their site.. so whatever they reported is from the RELIABLE source of a third party validation company called RENTRAK.. so you have to go to Rentrak with all your logic theory to correct their ridiculous report, not just for Vedalam even for other Tamil movies which grossed millions MYR in Malaysia. ... all these days we have come up with Top 10 movies based on Rentrak reported figures..let us continue do that...
