Dear Crazy, try this link http://www.suratha.com/reader.htm.
It does not require you to download anything. Whenever you can't read a Tamil script just copy-paste the junk u see in the converter in the link and it will convert it into readable Tamil text. In this case (as in 90% of the cases yopu are likely to encounter) select the option TSC.

Happy Reading !

cheers

Vatsala is a name I like very much.
It is an old South Indian name that is not common nowadays.
It is derived from the Sanskrit word Vaathsalyam which means love that ignores the faults of people.

It is the nature of the Lord's love for His children. It is overwhelming and above narrow judgements of the imperfections. When a cow delivers a calf, it doesn't wait for a nurse to clean the mess of the calf up. It licks the newborn calf clean with her own tongue with no hesitation that the calf is unclean.

Vatsala is one who can shower love of that sort,

Enakku oru doubt .

Tamizhla Sa , gha, ba , da sound kidayathulla. Appa antha mathiri names ellam eppadi tamizh names aaga mudiyum. Innoru vishayam names meaning (Tamizh meaning) irunthathaanae athu tamizh namea irukka mudiyum.

For example Acana - a likely candidate since I have used only Tamizh phonetic sounds and also feminine since it ends in a vowel. Aana meaning
ethuvum kidayathae.

Hmm.....well, punjabi girls of course hav male-sounding names w/ "kaur" (wich identifies them as female names) attached to them...so maybe the girls' names were like Tarun Kaur or sumthin...:)

Querida

well of course Shyam, the differentiation of their names can be seen by the tell-tale use of Kaur or Singh in their names and then of course seeing the person eye to eye. IMO i think it's quite a modern and liberal view to have both genders named as equals :cool2: :goodidea:

vaLLi means creeper in Malayalam (possibly also in Thamizh, kodi). There is a possibility that this is used there as a part of the name. (One movie director's name is Venu NagavaLLi). I'm not sure whether VaLLi is used in the same context as in TN
