what is meaning of the word swaraprastharam?Please give me some pointers

prasthAram means spreading out or expanding. svara is a note. So the word svaraprasthAra means exposition of notes.

is this different from explaoring the raga in raga alapana? when is this done during a carnatic music concert?
is there some online concert where you can give an example of this swaraprastharam?

rAga AlApanA is the free improvisation thet precedes the rendering of the actual kriti (pallavi, anupallavi and caraNa. svaraprastArA is done either after the neraval, or after the caraNa if nerval is not performed. svaraprastArA makes use of the solfa notes that are relevant to the rAgA.
