Hi idiappam
Do you know anything about a herb called purslane . What is its name in tamil . This is a very good herb with lot of medicinal properties . very good for heart patients .. I already viewed its pictures in internet . I,m curious to know its tamil name so that it can be added in our food frequently .

I guess it's pasalai keerai... But I'm not very sure abt it coz I''ve seen it only a few times... & does karisilankanni keerai also look the same?...

Oohhh...ok... sry guys...my knowledge as to keerais is very limited as I stick to a very few varieties... will pm Mr.Idiappam...:)

It looks like ponnangkani keerai, but am not very sure.

HI This is Deviraja,I know about keerai varieties to some extent becos my mom cooks different keerai when i was in my home daily,The greeens purslene is nothing but PARUPPU KEERAI u get in chinese stores in the name of HERB VERDALOGA
