We will get forwards in our mail box daily...why cant u forward here if it is interesting??

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

Barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they
eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't
believe that
God exists."

Why do you say that?" asked the customer
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't
exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick
people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would
be
neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow
all of
these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he

didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just

after he left the barbers shop, he saw a man in the street with long,

stringy, dirty hair & an un trimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barbershop again and he said to
the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am
a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed.
"Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with
dirty long hair and untrimmed beards like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point!
God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do
not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the
World."

A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

The Lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plain looking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite. The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves.

When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke: "If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups."

"Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups.
They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change."

"If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it."

A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer. All of a sudden, he said out loud, "Lord, grant me one wish." Suddenly the sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said, "Because you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish"

The man said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii , so I can drive over anytime I want." The Lord said, "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things.
Take a little more time and think of another wish, a wish you think would honor and glorify me."

The man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said, "Lord, I wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside, what they are thinking when they give me the silent treatment, why they cry, what they mean when they say 'nothing', and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge"?

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an American.

She asks her students to raise their hands if they were American too.

Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their
hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks.

There is, however, one exception.

A girl named Gita has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks
her why she has decided to be different.

"Because I am not an American." replied Gita.
"Then", asks the teacher, "What are you?"

"I'm a proud Indian," boasts the little girl.

The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks
Gita why she is an Indian.

"Well", my mom and dad are Indians, "so I'm an Indian too."

The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason", she says loudly "if your
mom was an idiot, and your dad was an idiot, what would you be then?"

A pause, and a smile.

"Then" says Gita, "I'd be an American."

A little girl and her father were crossing a flimsy bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."

The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."

"What's the difference?" asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl. "If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind , age, caste or creed but in its bond.

So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold urs
