Dev,

I had a look at the site.If you were to visit the showroom in Hyd,you would save upto 25% on most of the pochampally saris.Example:A sari costing 5000/- on this site (discounted price,I mean),would cost you 3750/- at the showroom.(Approx figures).
If you were to go to the weaver directly and place your order (they generally take a minimum order of a certain no of silk saris),it will cost even less than 4000/-
What I have mentioned are approx figures and I am able to share this info as I have bought a couple of saris for special occassions like weddings in the family.

Thanks, Sailu... I need to check the price of these sarees in my hometown... Was thinking of gifitng a saree to someone... so if the price in my hometown is cheaper than the internet rates & if the collection is good, I guess I'll ask my mom to buy one on my behalf... Thanks again...:)

BTW, Y not much new recipes on your blog these days?... Bored of cooking or bored of blogging?...

Your welcome,Dev.It would be best if you could get them from your hometown if they have a good showroom for pochampally saris, as they would be a wide variety to choose from and you can check the quality too.It makes more sense too..:)since they are expensive silk saris.

Hi Dev,

I am from pochampally.com.

Regarding quality of the sarees, Pochampally is known to use the best of the quality silk available in industry & and the tradition has now been for decades. Online orders are fulfilled only after a thourough quality check as we have a "no questions asked, full refund policy" and we follow it literally.

Rates: Our webprice is same as that is put on the label in our showroom, at abids, hyderabad. (yes, occasionally we do offer discounts at showroom) You are welcome to buy as you prefer.

I would also like to let you know on this opertunity regarding our mission at pochampally.com briefly

It is organized as a network of all pochampally weavers. We are working very hard behind the scenes to bring the actual weaver of the pochampally product to forefront!. meaning you can actually see the weaver of the sari you are buying, and how it is made (loomed), and we promise to make this a reality very soon.

Effectively the collection will be complete. You will see the product at pochampally.com before you see it anywhere. We make it and nobody!. Everybody else is a reseller.

Thanks. Goodluck shopping :) and my regards to you & your family.

Hi Dev,

We do specify 15 days as mentioned on the website on this page http://pochampally.com/shop/pages.php?pageid=47#9

But with reasonable relax on the gap in circumstances unavoidable, we take Customer's side. Rest assured, we understand a 'customer' as a 'customer'

Thanks for asking :)
