Director Vasanth, who has been absent from the scene for a while now, is silently (pun unintended!) at work for his film Sattham Podathey.
With more than 80% of the film complete, Vasanth is currently working with Yuvan on the music. Says the director, "There are five songs in the film, and they are all melody numbers. With Yuvan at the helm, I am sure the songs will be great! I want to bring out the best from this talented director, and for this reason, I have allocated one whole month to spend time with Yuvan." One of the lines in the film by lyricist Muthukumar, who got married recently, is "Nothing is past. Everything is in the present", which the director tells us is the central theme of the film as well.
The story deals with a small, peaceful, middle class family who face a situation that drastically hinders their life. How they come out of such a situation is the rest of the story. With Prithiviraj and Padma Priya in the lead, the rest of the 20% of the shoot depends on the availability of the actors' dates. The final schedule is slated for the end of July. The interesting aspect of this film though is the fact that an ardent fan of the director is actually producing this film!
