It is clearly seen, Tamil movies doing considerably good business in kerala in recent years .Tamil actors are more popular in Kerala compare to malayalam actors's popularity in Tamil nadu.

During this onam ,Asianet telecasted interviews of many tamil actors ..Kamal,Vikram and surya were given much importance .Ofcourse kamal and vikram acted in malayalam movies too .But recently tamil movies collected more than 1 crores Rs in kerala.

Is it really something changing in audience taste ? Or is it just a hype?

Keralite knows/understand tamil & hindi, hollywood they watch every language films ...even 80's 90's rajini & kamal movies are much popular. kamal started his career from malayalam cinema !even bhagyaraj Munthanai Mudichu ran 100+days in kerala ..padayappa,badshah,thenali,annamalai ran 100days ..Malayalam satellite channels encourage Tamil and Hindi cinematic dances for their in-house programmes. surya, ajith, vijay, vikram have fans in kerala.
