The Mahabharata Trilogy project incorporates a plan to make three cinemas entirely based on the stories of Mahabharata and is believed to include some top Bollywood superstars. The multi-starrer will include the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan. It has been claimed that the project will capture the battles, intrigues, spiritual complexity and cultural aesthetics of India 4,000 years ago.

If there is such a movie trilogy to be done all i can guess is that they want to do it like lord of the rings and knowing maniratnam he will get inspired by lord of the rings. Dunt be surprised if you see the ogres of lord of the rings make a return as the asuras in mahabaratham. :exactly:

the whole Indian flum industry can combine their best talents to make the movie.... fro Malaylam to Bollywood.....

From tamil i would say: Surya....Ajith....Kaml....Rajini ....some of the old actors like "Nabier" .... can be considered for some strong roles...but this happening is like
1 in a million ....
