As many as 15 films compete for the GOLDEN PHEASANT AWARD for the best film. As many as 400 films had come up before the screening committee. Under the competition category, 125 entries came out of which 15 have been selected for screening.
Eight films will be screened under the category MALAYALAM CINEMA TODAY and seven films under INDIAN CINEMA TODAY.
THE INAUGURAL FILM WILL BE SCREENED AT THE NISHAGNADI OPEN AIR AUDITORIUM, IN THE PREMISES OF KANAKAKUNNU PALACE. FILMS WILL BE SVREENED AT SEVEN THEATRES IN THE CITY.
Application forms are available at the office of the FILM SOCIETY FEDERATION FUNCTIONING AT KALABHAVAN, VAZHUTHACAUD. THE APPLICATION FORMS CAN EB DOWN LOADED FROM THE WEB SITE:
www.keralafilm.com. For students the delegate fee is 150.
