Dear Friends,
Can any one suggest me free anonymous browsing sites. I have tried www.anonymouse.org, proxify.com, proxy4free.com, anonymizer.com,www.kproxy.com. All these are banned in Gulf countries.

Please suggest some thing else which will be fast enough. I tried www.163flast.net/proxy and it is damn slow.

SW geniuses please help me.

Try this: http://proxy.org/

if you don't mind what kind of a site do you want to access that requires anonymity? Gulf countries do censure a lot of websites but what is that you are looking for? (need not answer if it is personal), try this site, if it doesn't work, jus' let me know.

Thanks

Well in Gulf nations there is also a restriction for freedom of speech or freedom of expression and off late the internet has become such a medium that they try to censor.

Many sites that redicule the Islam are banned for instance, the most famous among them are www.faithfreedom.org [1], www.answering-islam.org [2].

Anyways try these:

http://www.samair.ru/proxy/

http://www.publicproxyservers.com/page1.html

http://www.aliveproxy.com/proxy-list/proxies.aspx/Saudi_Arabia-sa

http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html

www.your-freedom.net

try these for now, you can alternatively try to use google language tools to visit it.

If the authorities are particular in banning something, why are you so particular to do it? Obey the laws of the country in which you live and work, otherwise it would be better to exit the country and come back home or go to some other country where it is not banned.

Hi advise is easy to make and difficult to follow. I wanted only SW genius to help me and they are trying to do it. If you are not keep away from this thread.

The law of the land says that you should not bribe. Have you not paid capitation fee to get your professional degree admission.

The law of the land says that dowry is prohibited. Did u not get jewels, vessels, money as part of your dowry.

The law of the land says that you should drive and get the license. How many of you actually drove and got the license.

The law of the land says that you pay income tax. How many of you pay 100% dutifully. Are you not making any efforts to evade the tax.

The law of the land says that you insist on a proper receipt or bill when you purchase. How many of you insist bills / reciepts so that sales tax will go the revenue.

Think, relax and join the fun. If not keep away

I have not paid capitation fee. I have always paid my taxes (they are deducted when I am paid salary) correctly. I have never taken a dowry (mine was a love-marriage not arranged), Yes I always get a tax-invoice (so called bill in australia) whenever I buy anything, all my purchases are thru debit/credit card, so all are legitimate, Yes I got my driving license only after getting tested in driving !

Additionally I am in SW/IT field for the past 22 years!!!

Since you were for many years in KSA whenever you go home have you declared all those electronic / gold jewellary / foreign currency you have taken every time during your trip to the customs and paid customs duty every time without fail.

For this also you will say "Yes I have paid". We will then be really happy to see a saint living in Australia ditching India who has educated him out of tax payers money.

I had never taken gold/dutiable things from KSA to India. I never took foriegn currency to India. They are bank-transfered to accounts as per law. (I was myself working in IncomeTax department in India before that!!) I live in Australia on invitation from my employers, not opting for it myself. I was educated in India paid by my dad.

jben thinks that all Indians living overseas are ditching India or breaking Indian laws. He has a very wrong impression. Once jben travels overseas he will have first-hand experience.

I know this kind of answer will come from a saint like you. Have you not smoked in public which is breaking the law of the land. Again your answer is going to be "I do not smoke". Real saint you are. By the way, I am also abroad and I know how abroad indians respect the law of the land. I am not jealous of any Indian who is in Australia. Every one who goes for job goes on the invitation of the employers. Why dont you live in India and uplift the law of the land where you were born and educated out of tax payers' money.

Jben, I think Braandan aNNa is saying that you may not follow these rules in your own country but can 'escape' because you have some advantages. But in a different country where you dont know the language, dont understand the culture, dont know the people in power, and where they may follow 'eye for an eye' type of law, it is better to obey the law. They may think that cutting your fingers off may be right punishment

[tscii:c180ad7987]Well my friend, regardless of the definition of "Indian", you may or may not be surprised to know that Margaret Thatcher tried to define "English” as being white Anglo-Saxon. Many colored people who are British born have trouble defining their rights when it comes to grants to study etc. I witnessed this when a student there.

You have a point, cause country of birth do not automatically alter our traits and appearances in making all the people born in the same country, the the same. Some characteristics are inherited in our genes that cause us to think and behave in a certain way however much traits of other races rubs off on us as we mingle with them. That we can’t' escape and what do you expect when the history and characteristics of our ancestors are known - deception and twisted tongues etc. We must distinguish between what is real and what is not.

Sorry, Badri, confronting truth is not an offence when it is called for. :)
