No budget, no star cast, no sophisticated cameras, no theatre.
PR. Harikumar, a Malayalam lecturer with the Sree Sankara University, Kalady, claims to have brought out the first pocket film in the country, shot and edited on his mobile phone.

The 10 minutes long film, titled A BOY IN HIS TIME was screened at IFFK-2006. :D
I READ ABOUT the first pocket film festival in Paris, followed by San Francisco, Rome, Canada and in Taiwan. This film tells the story of a boy who has been neglected by his parents. There are three characters in this film. The film has English title it has no dialogues. The background music supporting the visuals helps the viewer.

Harikumar has earlier Ramayanam and Tirukkural on the mobile phone said, he had downloaded “neela kannukal” a novel on the mobile phone. :o
With the size of 5 MB, the film can also be screened on the computer and on an ordinary LCD Projector.
