Our first anniversary is coming up in April. So I've decided(its still a secret) to gift Brinda Temple jewellery set in gold. Both of us are huge fans of traditional & antique jewellery. But so far I've seen only artificial Temple Jewellery (for dance ). Does any one know any place where they set these patterns in gold?

Prince Jewellery has recreated some antique Tmple pieces in gold but its down south, in Chennai. I don't want to buy anything gold online.

Will a local goldsmith do it? Does this require any special skills? Are these hand-crafted or machine-made?

yes. Bhima too has a good colection of temple jewelry. Today these ornaments are machine made. Fine designs are available. good luck and all the best.

Where is Bhima's? Chennai or Trivandrum?

Thankyou all for responding. :-)

I 've heard about the purity of Bhima's hall marked jewellery but they do not have an outlet in Delhi, do they?

I DON'T THINK SO. WHAT YOU CAN DO IS, PROCURE THE DESIGN OF THE TEMPLE JEWELRY AND FIND A SUITABLE GOLDSMITH.
