This news report is one of a kind.

A daily wages worker in Gandhi market, Trichy has sent Rs 5K as his personal share to repay the "country's loan to the world" (as he feels bad about India a country laden with debts and wanted to remove that kaLangam).

The PMO has promptly deposited it to "prime minister's relief fund" (finally some politician will swindle it) and sent him a "thank you" card (that itself surprised me).

Now this fellow feels cheated that his money is not being used to repay the loan but for some other "nivAraNam".

Though most of us don't do such silly things and feel cheated, we often feel cheated by the authorities (or any others) on various counts.

Let's try to recall such episodes here (and pulambify) :-)

If he reads about national debt etc, obviously he should have also read about how much money our politicians have stashed away in swiss banks. And most of that money was either bribe or otherwise swindled.

It won't take longer to pay off the debts if the gov has strong will to shake that up - in whichever way.
