Now the latest reports are that he has decided to offer Balu Mahendra to direct a film for him. Of course, after completing 50 years of filmdom, the actor has come up with an idea of extending offers to various talented filmmakers to direct and Balu Mahendra happens to be in the list. But we aren’t sure when the project would actually take off…

Well, he has done it already. Sathi Leelavathy was directed by Balu Mahendra and produced by Raj Kamal International.
He also made Mouli, Kaka Radhakrishnan, Gemini Ganesan direct & act in his movies when they were'nt really active in TFI.
