not a big fan of his comedies in general. however I particularly like his turn in Sahadevan mahadevan . With Rama narayanan his funny timing was usually spot on. RIP. one more star of the 80s gone. Jai(self) - unakku vayasu aaitte irukkudaa. new age worldukku seekiram adjust aayiru...

Been watching "Vaanga Pesalaam" in Vijay TV these days. Generally a blade program but i make it a point to watch it whenever i can for S.S....

I see previews for it frequently...after seeing him cracking jokes and looking very much alive...it feels like when actor Murali passed away....and thinking but I just saw him on tv minutes ago... :(

I remember as a child being terrified of the scheming characters he could play as villain's sneaking ally/henchmen...it was only years later I came to appreciate the timing of his one-liners.

SS Chandran started at the age of 15 and gave us some wonderful comedy display in several films. His 800 some films in his career is an acheivement indeed.
