I think IR's songs are remixed not only for movies but also by independent musicians / groups that release private albums. Probably everyone knows about the 'madai thiRandhu' remix which was in some blogs and other websites. I think the artist is Yogi Natchathira (is the name correct?) who is now colloborating with TF MD's for more remixes:-) And then there was this song in a rap album where portions of 'kAttukkuyilu manasukkuLLa' was thrown in. This in an album by a Srilankan Thamizh artist in the west.
