Infact, the "Vathyar" title itself first belonged to Sri.Thanjai Ramayya Das. Sri.Thanjai Ramayya Das was called "Vadhyar" widespread in Tamil Film Industry. Later on this title was adapted to call our beloved MT as "Vathyar".

The fact that you got irritated was, when i mentioned about Sri.Sathyan Maashu and the meaning of the same. Even Mr.Kamalahassan in his interview about his career in malayalam had addressed Sri.Sathyan as Sathyan Maashu and Not Mr.Prem Nazir as KERALA MGR...
I never sparked anything on the title given to MGR with love by his fans...I had mentioned again the truth of Sri.Thanjai Ramayya Das who was called as "Vathiyar" in the Tamil Film World.....Please try to read the article published in Daily Thanthi about Sri.Thanjai Ramayya Das and then come back to me.
