I think SIFY is right for one obvious reason. Its calculations are based on the box office, and box office pertains to chennai . And sify says the other figures are an estimate based on CM success in and around chennai.
And Sify has correctly pointed out Rajnis strongholds such as NSC and Trichi areas. Im from Tirunelveli and the figures it Quotes for that area are very logical considering previous movies with great collection.

My opinion regarding sify is same whether it is a Kamal or Rajni Film !! I have also pointed out MX did make some loses in NSC market .
Refer indiafm.com and u will see how authentic they are !!They show the figures in each and every theater in Mumbai !!!

In tamil Nadu making a big budget movie exceedinbg 20 crores is always a deficit! Unless its a multi lingual such as Indian. Thats one reason why people stopped makin big budget movies!
And Yes vijay has a crazy fan following! Havent u seen crazy people flank theaters for a vijay movie? I know people who watched Tirupathchi a couple times! And I saw tirupatchi , its one big stupid movie!

He is a great Actor NO DOUBT! but the fact is Kamal has been trying to show HE only knows! and as a result of that belif he has been messing up his movies! Vasool Raja was a average grosser Thats it! It failed anywhere apart from the cities! And I would say Kamal ruined the whole fun Munna bhai had , because Kamal dominated Prabhu " Circuit"!
Now as vetayadu Velayadu is strating, in papers we are hearing news that kamal has changed the script and medled with the story once again!
