Looks like RUDRAMADEVI is postponed to 2015 summer. Not sure when the audio will release.

IndiaGlitz says Merku Thodarchi Maalai (MTM) is IR's 1001 movie. Not sure...I thought some other movie was IR's 1001 movie? Was it SAC's movie (Touring Talkies (TT)) or some other movie? Also mentions that audio will release immediately after IR's Thara Thappattai (also TT :) ) audio releases, which I think will be sometime soon.

t has been a long journey laced with sweet and bitter memories for Ilayaraja; The maestro who talks little and lets his music speak has earned zillion fans throughout the world. He has reached an impossible feat, a milestone in his career – i.e he had composed music for 1000 songs. On this occasion R. Balki, in whose three films so far — Cheeni Kum, Paa and Shamitabh — Ilayaraja has composed the music, plans an event on January 20 in Mumbai where the most prominent among those who have accompanied the music maestro on his 1000-film journey, will be invited to honour their ‘Raja Sir’.
From S. Janaki and P. Susheela who sang in Raja Sir’s first soundtrack Annakili to Big B, who has sung in Raja Sir’s latest Shamitabh, they will all be there.” Interestingly, Lata Mangeshkar has sung only one song for Ilayaraja, in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film Lajja.
She is also expected to attend. Says Balki, “Yes, we’re planning something very special for Raja Sir on 20 January.”

Info about one of the song of "Shamitabh":
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/e...w/45819324.cms
"Ilaiyaraaja, the veteran music composer of the upcoming film Shamitabh, has included a special song in the movie's soundtrack that will pay tribute to the Indian film industry.
"For this film, Ilaiyaraaja sir has composed a very non Bollywood song which is a lyrical ballad on the quirks of the Indian film industry," confirms director R. Balki. "
I am thinking if audio will be released on Jan 20th.
