Well , there is scope for making it a madurai film - but not in a derogatory sense.
One of my leading complaints is that with so much of Madurai domination, Madurai town hardly ever features in our films. Oh how I love that place, and how under-represented it is in our cinema. For that matter, Tiruchi or Coimbatore. And kanyakumari ellAm dont even think about.
(The koodal nagar director claimed precisely that he will show Madurai town or a part of madurai never shown before and its ethos - the only word that springs to my mind after seeing it is "ngoyyala")
I'd love to see Barath in a kaminey like movie set in madurai - but in the same way Vishal did it not with localisation as PR put it.
it can definitely be remade - its not a difficult movie like DevD :lol2:
last watched movie: honeymoon travels - suthham.......i found it very boring.......maybe there were some subtexts in the narration but i was too lazy to even take a effort to notice them.......
Honeymoon Travels - good in parts but overall, wasted effort. One of the few films where I disliked Boman Irani.
Ab Tak Chappan.. Nana Patekar kahave ve intha padam parkalam :notworthy:
yea me too and this is the first film where i found Abhay insipid.....neenga solradhu rite dhaan, bollywood-la "madhyamavathi" padangal remba mosama irukku.......idhukku ivanga masala padame edukkalaam :lol:Quote:

Actually, PR, I didnt find his stammering or lisping convincing, the latter more so.
One could really see the effort to ensure that he got the f for s at places. And in some places, it wasnt like he was saying f or s, it was like he was saying a word with f in it. Nit-picking but that is the difference between good and great, isnt it?
