The Chennai box office seems to have gone into slumber after the Pongal releases.
The first Friday of February had two starless films - Yudham Sei and Thoonganagaram, which were well promoted by their producers. There was curiosity around the films, but the openings were lukewarm.
Mysskin directed Yudham Sei has emerged as the new number one at the CBO, though collections are just average.
At number two is Thoonganagaram, which is doing better in single screens and is picking up.
In third place is Siruthai and at number four is Kaavalan.
In fifth place is Aadukalam.
