Mr. Vidhya Rajan, kuththu songs la evlo naal-nga nikka mudiyum fieldla, Wht I told was his everlasting career with music, not in bits n parts... :D , subha is gr8 kuththu singer, still she can sing only 'Vaaalpaara vatta paaaarai' andha paaraiyaiye thongittu irukkanga... I dont want prasi to be like this, I want him to become a versatile singer...

Prasanna performance-a keen-a gavanichu paarunga... for each n every song he did, he brought the orignal song as it is, endha improvisation-um pannala... he use to imitate and mimic the original song as it is, for eg. when he sang, 'Sivasambo' song he mimicked as MSV's voice... nalla irundhudhu i didnt say anything abt this, whereas others tried to sing with their own voice... and one other PBS song, avar maadhiriye paadinaar, mimic panradhilla singing... it is something gud n gr8... avar innum nallave varuvaar...

even in ASS season 1, there was a person I hope his name is 'Balaji' he tooo didnt learn carnatic but he came to top 10 as prasanna... avarum ippadi thaan nalla roumba nalla paaduvaar, but wht to do music padikkaadhadhaala he was not able to bring creative singing...

If u observe the original playback singing, u should sing for a new song, not an existing song, to mimic it... so in that atmosphere u have to bring creativeness, so as to become popular and gr8 singer... :D

I agree with your points. But we cannot say that Prasi is only capable of kuthu songs. He can also sing melodies, or fast paced disco numbers. Carnatic song'na kandippa kashtam. But remember, there are so many genres of songs in Tamil. Not just Kuthu and Carnatic :D

He definitley should learn Carnatic. But idha "orE karanama" vachu eliminate panninadhu thaan thappu'nu ennoda argument.

I'm not expertise in judging. But I definitely feel that Prasi does improvise.... not just mimic as you said :D

And Prasanna comparatively has sung very few kuthu songs. He had done all styles unlike others.

He himself was not sure of the words of the song given to Prasi. (avare iyatri, isai amaithu nadithadham.. Kashtam). Prasi did some modulations which Unni Menon could not take.

I also feel that the songs chosen by Prasi in the relationship rounds are very blunt ones.

Whereas the song given to Vijay looked like a familiar one. Both knew the lyrics.

IMHO, Prasi had known that he is going to be eliminated. he had come prepared with a final song for his rasigars.

News float that Raginisri is the next one to go out with the strings round. (next week). Apram Vijay - by default.
