Sakarakatti was announced but I haven't heard anything after that. I hope this (and Pawan Kalyan's Satyagrahi) do not end up shelved.

The film "Chillunu Oru Kathal" may be the biggest disappointment of the year but A.R. Rahman's album, coming after a long gap, is a huge success.
The top five Tamil Albums are:
1. "Chillunu Oru Kathal" - Music: A.R. Rahman. The title track has become a rage in Tamil Nadu. "Munbe Vaa", a melody by Shreya Ghosal and Naresh Iyer, is also a huge hit.
2. "Vettayadu Vilayadu" - Music: Harris Jayaraj. When the film is a success, its songs also top the charts. "Partha muthal" by Unni Menon and Bombay Jayashri continues its dream run.
3. "Vallavan" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. With many more days still to go for the film's release, "Loose penne" sung by Silambarasan and Blaze is very much in demand.
4. "Something, Something, Unakkum Enakkum" - Music: Devisri Prasad. All the songs in the film are sought after by radio listeners and TV viewers.
5. "Thimiru" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. "Maana Madurai" sung by Shankar Mahadevan continues to be popular.
Tamil Cinema - A good season
IndiaGlitz [Thursday, October 05, 2006]
It all happens in a torrent for the Tamil film industry. It maybe good or bad, things come in a heap.
This season it has been one of good things.
It is some time since Tamil cinema saw so many hits in one single stretch.
But the times are positive now, or so it seems.
Just look at the offerings that we had over the last two months or so.
Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Unakkum, Enakkum, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Em Magan, Sillunnu Oru Kaadhal, Thimuru, Perarasu.
All of them have been classified big blockbusters and have emerged hugely successful.
Let the good run continue.

"Munbe vaa" has a haunting quality about it. I won't be surprised if Shreya gets awarded for her rendition. The starting line reminds me of on old IR song "Then pandi thamizhe". The violins follow the lead melody for most part of the song drowning the voices. why is that so?
