Again an obscure film with at least one beautiful song. I am sure there are other good songs in the film but I only have this one. A lovely melody from the duo Shankar-Ganesh. Great early 70s feel and takes you back in time in an instant.
This song is kind of a nEyar(Usha) viruppam. Because I don't have any of the PS-SPB duets requested by Usha, I am presenting this nice duet from the same pair.

If my memory serves right the movie had Jai, Savithri, AVM Rajan and Nirmala (could be Lakshmi or Kumari Padmini not sure). I saww the movie when I was 5 year old or something, still remember AVM Rajan takes care of Savithri after ditched by her husband I think. Jai is Savithri son. AVM R brings up and sings the marvellous AMR song (how I miss his songs ..)
This movie had a wonderful AMR song "Chinna Kannane, Naan Thandhai ena, nee pillai ena oru Bandham vandhahu...', when Jai as a baby kicks AVM R..
Though I have heard the POW song, the AMR used to be played often

Arumaiyaana paadal. I never heard this song before, but i heard another beatiful song in the same movie " Chinna kannane" by AMR. Thanks for post extreme rare song.
