Sillunnu Oru Kadhal - A.R.Rahman - Vaali - Surya

watched Sillunu oru kaathal again at Sathyam yesterday... it was surprising to see a large turnout for a "Flop" film (courtesy: sify) even around 40 days after it's release...... The effect of A.R.Rahman's music in Satyam was awesome..even the maja maja song sounded good :)

second time i liked the movie better than the first time i watched it... ARR bgm was def good esp in climax scenes.... nowhere in the range of IR's mounaragam bgm or ARR's own Kannathil Muthamittal BGM but def was way better than other films currently

Yes..Its true..I dunno wat happened to Ferrari, magix, C~P, paran, curryleaf..After tfmpage got a new look, many disappeared or had changed their names..I was music-man then now i am music man. Hmmm..Those were glorious days..Hope to see atleast a few of them return and share their views..

same here......i really miss ferrari,magix,c~p,paran......i miss paran the most, cos i remember Paran and me arguing day and night to fight RS and other IR fans......it used to be really gr8........also, Ferrari,C~P discussions for AE were great........also there was a girl Aishwarya who was a big siddarth fan and we had lots of arguements over Maddy/sid...... :lol: .......really miss those days.....

anyways, now we again have a good group in Scale,Dinesh,rsubras,musicman,arjun,Ramakrishna,Aj aybaskar,Thineshan and urs truly.........

it is becoz of some people like magix/xml ferrari, C~P non-presence the very arguments dont seem much interest. Some are still here validating the same old points.

that Chennai song rocks....
well New York on the other hand is sooo populer over here...

u should see how many ppl have it as ring tone.
i here it allover the place.

I also feel the same. but not entirely. the starting humming reminds the typical YSR style. (i think YSR did that type of humming in many films). Me and my friend (ARR fan) also discussed the same. anyway mind blowing number from ARR.

top position. None of the new albums of Diwali releases could match
Rahman's "Chillunu Oru Kadhal", though the film is a big flop.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. "Chillunu Oru Kadhal" - Music: A.R. Rahman. The film's title track
continues to be heard on all radio channels. "Munbe vaa", a melody by
Shreya Ghosal and Naresh Iyer and "New York Nagaram" by Rahman himself
are popular.

2. "Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu" - Music: Harris Jayaraj. This can be termed
as the best album of 2006.
3. "Vallavan" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. "Loose penne" sung by
Silambarasan and Blaze is rocking the charts.

4. "E" - Music: Srikant Deva. "Theepori parakum" sung by Tipu and
chorus may be like many other Hana songs but the lyrics have life in them.

5. "Thimiru" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. "Mana Madurai" sung by
Shankar Mahadevan is such a huge hit that it is heard regularly on all
FM channels.
