No problem. But it certainly caught my attention. Everytime I listen to it I have a big grin on my face. :D SJ was extraordinarily daring for her time. Other singers would not have crossed their self-imposed limits.

SN23, thanks. I saw Kavarimaan decades ago when I was not even old enough to watch a "A" rated film. I don't know who the song is for. I think both Prameela and Sridevi get drunk in the film. Kavarimaan is a very good album from IR. Had great variety.

yes.. this KJY song was not aired many times like other songs of the film.. "managala kaNNagi", "alamelu mangai" and "maduraikku" all female solos.
the film was a remake of kannada film. It is something like "gejje pooja" I think *ng kannad manjula.
I forgot everything. But I still remember Jayamalini with madisar :cry3:
