Vijay - nee oru kaadhal sangeetham - Not bad at all. His improvisations in two places - kaadhal kaadhal (repeat) and vaai mozhi sonnAl - were beautiful. Unni requested to sing it again.

Ajish again - iLangKathu veesuthE - Superb - Charanam ending onnu pOthum - very well done.

Ajish was consitstent in this round I think ( I have not seen yesterday's performance though). His choice of songs were good too. Hope he scores the highest.

Renu, Ravi and Ajish are into the finals - Ranjini and Vijay got eliminated. Next week wild card round - Prasannava pAkkalAmA ? :roll:

Ajish sang poojaikkAga vAzhum yesterday (kAdhal Oviyam). Not bad at all. But Prasanna was better singing the same song few weeks back. Ravi was good with kalaivaaNiyE. Very impressive song selection. Vijay tried poo poothadhu (MX) and poongAtru pudhidhaanadhu ( :cry: ). He was plain pathetic. They were first round performances, not semi-final :banghead: Ajesh's been the best performer this round (until yes'day)

I feel that Ranjani deserves the 3rd place. Even though Ajesh was good, he couldn't match Ranjani's Chinna Chinna vannakuyil, un pArvaiyil Oraayiram and one kalaivani song that she sang (I don't know the exact lines of the song :oops: )

oh PoojaikkaagavA - very difficult number. Prasanna sang that when he came back after elimination and got selected with that song. Yes he sang really well.
