Nayanthara as kuppathu raani
Glamour queen Nayanthara will be seen in a different role in Aadhavan. According to the story she is from a poor family who lives in slum area. Remember her role in ‘E’ as the bar dancer where she lives in such place. However in Aadhavan her role as ‘Kuppathu Girl’ would definitely get her enough limelight.
But will there be enough scenes for glamour. That’s the question from her beloved fans.

Nayantara refuses ‘Raavana’
Now, you will really pooh-pooh the actress to turn down such a delicious offer. But yes, the sizzling Nayantara has refused a role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’. It seems the actress was approached by the director’s wife Suhasini, on his behalf, to offer her a role of Mandodhari, the wife of Raavana, in the movie. Some sources say that she declined that offer claiming it to be a de-glamorised role. Whereas, some say that the actress, who is already committed to other projects, has no dates to spare for this one. If this is the case, we can understand how much upset Nayantara will be to say 'no' to Mani sir.
Hmm, that’s really bad. Else, it would have been wonderful to see Nayantara joining the other high profiled stars in the movie.
