Personally think Hub has got better. Even if we miss old hubbers like Kannannn, Selvakumar, etc. And not everyone is active like the old days. The Hub is bound to go beyond 'establishing' and 'disproving' phase. There's a new-found equilibrium as against the uniformly chaotic divide of the old days.

Dileep understands commercial mass masala better than any other Malayalam hero.
In his Diwali release, Kariyasthan he has done a dance sequence inspired by Rajinikanth, which is turning out to be one of the highlights of the film.
In a dance scene in Karyasthan. Dileep appears as a Rajini fan in the superstar's getup in Yejaman and dances to the Tamil star's typical dance steps.
Remember that Yejaman was one of the most popular films of Rajini.
Audience response seems to be working big time. The sequence has been picturised as Suraj Venjaramood's fantasy when he is drunk.
Song scenes from Yejaman are also shown in this sequence.
While last week's release Four Friends had Kamal Haasan as its star attraction Kariyasthan has Rajinikanth. It seems like Rajani is the winner of this star war in Kerala theatres.
